LANDIKOTAL: The political party leaders and social activists at Landiktoal press club on Monday demanded the high ups to increase and ensure health facilities to local people at district headquarter hospital of Landikotal.
Talking at meet the press program, the political party leaders Shah Hussain Shinwari(ANP), Haji Muqtadir Shah Afridi(JI), Abdur Raziq Shinwari(PTI) and the president of Tanzeem-e-Nawjawanan e Qabail , Israr Khan Shinwari criticized the health department and the administration of DHQ hospital of Landikotal for the lack of health facilities at the hospital.
The leaders said that hospital lacks gaenacologist female doctors and unavailability of drinking water which has doubled the miseries of local people and patients.
Treatment on Sihat Insaf card should be provided on priority basis at DHQ hospital of Landikotal because it is very difficult and miserable for the locals to go to Peshawar and receive medical treatment on the government health card. The leaders demanded.
The leaders criticized that often a minor injury patients were referred to Peshawar which was an inhuman and discriminative behavior with patients and local people.
Shah Hussain Shinwari said that local patients and injured persons always face miseries when visit the emergency unit of the hospital.
He said that lack of health and emergency health services at the casualty unit of the hospital should be ensured and the emergency unit should be fully equipped with all modern health equipment and health facilities.
Our patients of minor diseases are always referred to Peshawar having minor injuries and other diseases, referring our patients to Peshawar should be stopped. Shinwari stated and demanded.
Israr Shinwari, the president of Tanzeem-e-Nawjawan-e-Qabail said that a corruption mafia was working at the hospital.
He demanded that this corrupt mafia should be brought to justice and a strict legal action should be take against this mafia group.
Talking as the official representative of DHQ hospital of Landikotal, Ms.Dr.Naikdad Khan Afridi said that to overcome the shortage of gaenacologist female doctors, our hospital required some 10 female doctors for gaeny unit.
Provision of 10 gaenacologist female doctors would enable us to have three doctors in every eight hours official duty in 24 hours. The official said.
I have personally issued strict instructions to the health staff to provide every possible health facilities to the local people. The health official said and added that salaries have deducted from those health staff who found absent in past.
The health official said that my priority is mother-child and other women health services and I have strictly bound the female health staff to perform their duties punctually.
The health official said that collection of illegal money had banned at the hospital and if any local person complain about the illegal money, I would take action against those health employees.
Corona vaccine has injected to some 6300 local persons and 387 health staff of the DHQ hospital Landikotal. The health officials stated.
The health representative said that construction of accommodation building for health staff and doctors was under process and soon the construction would be completed. He stated and added that it will resolve the issue of those doctors who were facing the issue of accommodation facility at the hospital.
Soon the local of Landikotal and other remote areas would see the DHQ hospital of Landikotal as the category A hospital. The health official said .
When local media persons asked about the official notification of the hospital to A cegegory, the officials replied, that some local representatives Jirga had met the chief minister of Khyber Pakhunkhwa.
Chief Minister has assured the local Jirga members that soon the official notification of the hospital upgradation would be issued. He stated.
