LANDIKOTAL: Police foiled a bid to smuggle narcotics from Landikotal and arrested a piddler, officials said on Monday.
Station House Officer Ibrahim Shinwari said taking action on a tip they stopped a Suzuki van(G-0181)at Charqzgai Chowk post. He said during the search they recovered 2.5 kilograms of Ice drug and 1.6 kilograms of heroin from its hidden cavities. Ibrahim said they arrested one person identified as Kitab Shah son of Sayed Alam Shah and registered the first Information report against him.
