LANDIKOTAL: Custom appraisement staff at Torkham border crossing foiled a bid to smuggle narcotics from Afghanistan and arrested the piddler, officials said on Saturday.
Deputy Director Intelligence Amanat Khan said they stopped an empty truck Torkham as it entered Pakistan. He said during routine checking they recovered 18 kilograms of heroin and 14 kilograms of Ice drug from its hidden cavities. They arrested the diver and started an investigation.
