BARA: A water tanker truck transporting water to an army camp in the Tirah Valley in district Khyber was ambushed, leaving the driver dead and the vehicle set ablaze.
According to sources, the tanker was en route to the camp when militants opened fire, targeting both the driver and the vehicle. The driver succumbed to his injuries, while the truck was destroyed in the fire. Security forces arrived at the scene shortly after and have launched an investigation into the incident. Efforts are underway to identify and apprehend those responsible for the attack.
The water tanker driver was not a government employee,” sources added.
