Journalist Killed In Kabul Bomb Blast at Afghanistan

TURKHAM: A roadside magnetic IED bomb killed three people, including a former TOLO TV news Journalist in Kabul of Afghanistan.

According to Kabul police, the explosion happened in the Makrorayan-e-Char area in Kabul’s PD9 on Saturday morning. the journalist was identified as Yama Siawash.
Kabul police said the explosion happened at around 7:30 am on Saturday morning.
The explosion was a magnetic IED blast that targeted a vehicle carrying the former journalist and two others, police added.
Afghanistan is one of the world’s deadliest places for journalists, who face many risks covering the country’s long conflict and who have oftentimes been targeted for doing their jobs.
