TORONTO: The legendary Afghan singer Qamar Gulla was laid to rest after his funeral prayers were offered at Stoney Creek in Hamilton, Canada, with hundreds of people in attendance.

Qamar Gulla was laid to rest in a graveyard in Stoney Creek in Hamilton, Canada. A large number of Afghans attended his funeral prayers.
Members of the Afghan Network for Social Service (NGO) also attended the funeral.
The chief executive of the Afghan Network of Social Service (NGO), Mr. Mofakir, expressed his sincere grief over the passing of the Pashto singer.
Qamar Gulla passed away after a protracted illness in Hospital in Toronto on Dec 10 Friday.
Qamar Gulla was born on January 21, 1952, in Nangarhar, Afghanistan.
During Afghan War, She moved to Peshawar, Pakistan, and then to Canada.
