JI leaders say PTI not sincere to deliver in merged districts

LANDIKOTAL: Jamaat-e-Islami leaders and supporters on Saturday staged a protest demonstration against the prolonged load shedding that irked life in Landikotal.

Hundreds of JI workers and supporters gathered in Landikotal bazaar and chanted slogans againt Wapds officials. They were holding party flags and banners inscribed with slogans to stop severe load shedding in Landikotal.

Speaking on the occasion, JI Landikotal ameer Haji Hassan Shinwari,Murad Hussain and others said that the government failed to deliver and resolve basic issues of citizens. They asked the rulers that do not to push citizens toward further darkness and ignorance.

“We will not compromise over the legal and constitutional rights of tribal people”,Hassan said. He threatened if Wapda officials not resolved the load shedding problem they would be compelled to start set-in in Landikotal.

JI leaders asked other political parties leaders and workers to come forward and launch a joint movement for the legal and constitutional rights of tribal people.

The JI leader lamented the open court sessions(Kuli kachrhri) being arranged by administration officials. They said that officials had conducted a number of open court sessions in Khyber district but they did not resolve a single problem so far.

Hassan said PTI government was not sincere to serve but their leaders had made a dirty precedent of blaming others. He said thousands of residents have been deprived of their jobs and businesses in the past one year.
