LANDIKOTAL: A 12-year-old boy was killed in a road accident that took place on ShahKas road in Bara tehsil of district Khyber, a source said on Tuesday.
The source said that Hassnain, nephew of a senior tribal journalist Siraj Afridi, was crossing the road when a speedy trailer truck(NGR-1825) hit him. He was killed on the spot due to severe injuries on his body.
The vehicle’s driver, Wakeel, a resident of Afghanistan was arrested and sent to the lockup.
The slain boy was shifted to his home in Landikotal and buried in his ancestral graveyard in Sultan Khel village.
