LANDIKOTAL: Pakistan International Human Rights Organization (PIHRO) executive member for the district of Khyber, Rabbi Khan Afridi, has vowed to work tirelessly for the protection of human rights, the provision of affordable justice, and the resolution of longstanding public issues in the region.

Speaking at a press conference held at the District Press Club, Landikotal (Registered), on Wednesday, Rabbi Khan Afridi extended heartfelt gratitude to the leadership of PIHRO for placing their trust in him and assigning him the key responsibility for the Khyber district.

“I am deeply thankful to the senior leadership of Pakistan International Human Rights Organization for trusting me with this important role. I assure the PIHRO team that I will never let their trust be broken. I am committed to serving the organization with full dedication and in strict accordance with its policies and principles,” Afridi stated.

He reaffirmed his determination to be the voice of the oppressed and to actively raise concerns over human rights violations on all relevant platforms. Afridi stressed that his foremost priority would be to ensure justice for the people of the district, especially those who are deprived of the necessities of life.

“Access to fundamental human rights such as education, healthcare and clean drinking water remains a serious issue in our region. I will continue my efforts day and night to eliminate these deprivations and ensure that every citizen is treated with dignity and fairness,” he added.

Rabbi Khan Afridi concluded by calling upon civil society, media and other stakeholders to support the mission of PIHRO in safeguarding human rights and promoting a just and equal society in Khyber district and beyond.
