PESHAWAR: One-day awareness seminar was organized by the Network for Human Rights and Justice of Pakistan at the Peshawar District Hall the other day.
The purpose of the seminar was to promote human rights, raise public awareness and highlight the importance of protecting human dignity in society.
The seminar was attended by the organization’s Chief Executive Officer, Zulqarnain and central director Akhunzada Jawad, along with prominent personalities from various walks of life, legal experts, social activists and students.
On this occasion, speakers delivered detailed speeches on the current situation of human rights, the challenges faced and their possible solutions. They shed light on the principles of international human rights and urged the public to respect each other’s rights and raise their voices against oppression and injustice.
Addressing the gathering, the organization’s provincial president, Dr Gul Mand Khan Afridi, said, Respect for human rights was the foundation of a peaceful and civilized society. He said they must respect the rights of others as much as they value their own.
At the conclusion of the seminar, awareness material was distributed among the participants and a collective commitment was made to promote human rights.
All the participants expressed their gratitude to the provincial president, Dr Gul Mand Khan Afridi and his entire team
