TANK: Security forces on Wednesday conducted an intelligence-based operation in the general area of Kiri Machankhel locality of Tank district and killed seven militants.
Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that the security forces conducted military operations in which an intense gunfiring exchange between Pakistan Army and militants, took place between Pakistan Army and militants. According to ISPR, they targeted militants’ hideouts in various areas.
Heavey weapons and ammunition were also recovered. Seven militants were killed in the army action. from the killed terrorists. ISPR said the killed terrorists were involved in the recent target killings of police in Tank and surrounding areas.
Sanitization operation was also carried out to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area.
Locals of the area appreciated the operation and extended their full support to the security forces in the elimination of the menace of terrorism.
