10 Terrorists, Including civilians, Injured in Tirah Valley Attack

LANDIKOTAL: At least eighteen persons including two terrorists’ commanders were injured in a security forces attack carried out on a known terrorist hideout in Pir Mila locality of Tirah valley, official sources said on Monday.

The sources said that the attack was carried out on the hideout occupied by commander Saddam and Abu Zar in Tirah Valley. They said that motor shells were used in the attack.

The mortar explosion also damaged a nearby house of a civilian and injured ten local persons. They said that most of the injured persons were children. The security forces personnel shifted the injured civilians to nearby medical facilities for urgent treatment.

The operation was conducted based on intelligence reports about the presence of key terrorists, specifically commanders Saddam and Abu Zar, in the area. Authorities are continuing to assess the situation and ensure the safety of residents.
