Two Soldiers Martyred, Nine Terrorists Killed in Security Operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

PESHAWAER: Two separate security operations were conducted by Pakistani forces on March 14 and 15, leading to the elimination of nine terrorists. However, in the line of duty, two soldiers of the Pakistan Army embraced martyrdom.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the first operation was carried out in the Mohmand district after intelligence reports confirmed the presence of terrorists. During the fierce exchange of fire, seven terrorists were neutralized. Tragically, Havaldar Muhammad Zahid from Malakand and Sepoy Aftab Ali Shah from Chitral lost their lives in the operation.

In a simultaneous operation in the Madi area of Dera Ismail Khan, two more terrorists were killed. Security forces also recovered weapons and ammunition from the slain militants.

The Pakistan Army spokesperson paid tribute to the martyred soldiers, acknowledging their bravery and sacrifice in safeguarding the nation. The operations reaffirm the military’s resolve to combat terrorism and ensure stability in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa despite ongoing threats.
