LANDIKOTAL: Taking action against the absent female health workers of the district headquarters hospital of Landikotal, the hospital administration has relieved two female workers and stopped their salaries. DHQ hospital Landikotal officials told the media on Friday.
According to the official notification, the Staff Nurses Miss Hameeda and Miss Saira were both found absent when a female patient was brought for an ECG test to the emergency unit of the hospital.
The notification explains that both female health workers had been relieved from the hospital and their salaries have also stopped
The notification further says that further legal action has been requested from the director-general of health against the absent employees.
It is to be here that a woman was brought to the DHQ hospital of Landikotal on 31st May 2021 where a consultant physician advised an ECG but the two female health staff members on ECG duty were found absent and a male nurse performed the ECG of the woman patient but the woman later died.
