PESHAWAR: Unidentified motorcyclists gunned down a transgender in the limits of Faqirabad Police Station on Tuesday, police said.
Police said the transgender, identified as Ubaid, was on his way when the motorcyclists opened fire on him near Government College Chowk. He died on the spot and the assailants managed to escape.
Officials said the Superintendent of Police, Faqirabad, Usama Amin Cheema and other officers arrived at the spot and started an investigation.
Another transgender person was found dead in Swabi a day earlier.
