JAMRUD: Two policemen were injured when suspected militants attacked the Wazir Dhand Paatak Karkhano Market police post in the Jamrud tehsil of Khyber tribal district on Tuesday evening.
According to sources, unknown terrorists attacked the Wazir Dhand Paatak police post in Karkhano Market, injuring two policemen. The injured officers were identified as Moin Khan and Imtiaz Ali.
Following the incident, an additional contingent of police, along with rescue teams, arrived at the scene and transported the injured to a hospital in Peshawar. The police have launched an investigation and a search operation in the surrounding areas to apprehend the terrorists involved in the attack. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack yet.
