LANDIKOTAL: The president of Afghanistan Dr.Ashraf Ghani has said in a video message on the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan urging the Taliban militants to respect the holy month and come to the peace process.
Dr. Ashraf Ghani has said to give this message of peace to the Taliban after a grand consultative Jirga for peace held in Kabul which discussed the peace process in Afghanistan.
The immediate ceasefire between the Afghan government and the Taliban militant group was the main demand of the participants at the grand Jirga to bring peace to Afghanistan and end the years-long war in Afghanistan. the afghan media report said
According to the Afghan media report, the Taliban group has rejected the demand for a ceasefire and has explained that ‘Jihad’ is more important and rewarding during the holy month of Ramadan.
