Soldier killed in exchange of fire with terrorists in South Waziristan

PESHAWAR: A soldier of the Pakistan Army was martyred in an exchange of fire with terrorists in the Ladha region of South Waziristan district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) on Monday, as per the military’s media wing.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated that the troops successfully targeted the terrorists’ position.

However, in a fierce firefight, Lance Naik Muhammad Sabir, aged 30 and a resident of the Mansehra district, valiantly fought and sacrificed his life, attaining martyrdom, as stated by the ISPR.
The ISPR mentioned that thorough clearance operations were underway to eradicate any remaining terrorists in the vicinity.

“The Armed Forces of Pakistan are resolute in eradicating the threat of terrorism, and such sacrifices made by our courageous soldiers only fortify our determination,” the statement emphasized
