PESHAWAR: Maulana Fida Ur Rehman, a prominent social worker, was shot dead on Monday by unknown assailants in Hangu, located in the restive Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
According to sources, the incident occurred in the Khesari Banda area of Hangu, where the attackers targeted Maulana Fida Ur Rehman and fled the scene. Local authorities are investigating the incident, but no arrests have been made as of yet. Maulana Fida Ur Rehman was the chairman of the Spogmay foundation.
