Security Forces Kill 9 Militants in Bajaur, Pakistan

KHAR: Pakistani security forces killed nine terrorists, including a highly wanted militant leader, and two suicide bombers, during an operation in Bajaur district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, according to sources.

According to a statement from Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation was conducted on Wednesday night, following credible intelligence reports about the presence of militants in the area. The operation successfully targeted the terrorists, preventing a potential major terror plot.

After a fierce gunbattle, the law enforcement agency personnel killed nine terrorists, including two suicide bombers and the notorious leader Syed Muhammad, also known as Qureshi Ustad.

The ISPR stated that the killed terrorists had been involved in numerous attacks on security forces and civilians. This operation is part of the military’s continued efforts to eliminate terrorism from the country.
