Kurram’s slain teachers’ families receive “Shuhada” packages.

SADDA: The government distributed ‘Shuhada’ packages to the families of teachers and daily wage workers who were killed on May 4 in Kurram, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

During the event, the district administration presented Rs.55 lakh checks to the families of the slain teachers and Rs.10 lakh checks to the families of the deceased daily wage workers.
Sajid Hussain Turi, the Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis, said on the occasion that the slain teachers were not involved in any land disputes and that the authorities are taking full legal action against those responsible for their deaths. He emphasized the importance of giving exemplary punishment to the perpetrators while ensuring that no harm is done to any innocent person and called for continued efforts to establish peace and order in the region.”
It should be noted that on May 4th, a tragic incident occurred where gunmen entered Government High School Tari Mangal, in District Kurram of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa located near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, and killed 8 people, including six teachers. The attack has raised concerns about the safety and security of educational institutions in the area.
