LANDIKOTAL: Khyber police on Friday raided a compound in Wazirdand area of the Jamrud subdivision and recovered a huge quantity of Indian medicines and other chemicals.
Speaking at a news conference, District Police Officer Muhammad Iqbal said the police raided a home in Khugyani street and recovered the contrabands.
He said that a day earlier, the police spotted and sealed a heroin factory and confiscated the heroin manufacturing tools.
The official said they were chasing a few main heroin dealers and would soon make more arrests.
He added that in the past week, they have recovered drugs and Indian medicines from various compounds and homes in Jamrud and arrested several peddlers.
