LANDIKOTAL: With the efforts of jirga under the supervision of former senator and renowned religious figure Hafiz Abdul Malik Qadri two families who were the blood enemies turned into friendship on Thursday.
Mirajuddin Shinwari and Habibullah Shalmani families had old enmity. With the request of Hafiz Abdul Malik Qadri the family of Habibullah Shalmani, who had lost his life in the enmity, forgave Mirajuddin Shinwari and his whole family.
Speaking of the occasion, Hafiz Abdul Malik Qadri said that the time has gone that people were prolonging enmity with each other. He said the jirga members guaranteed that both sides would live peacefully. He said those violate would be dealt with strictly.
Both the families thanked the jirga members especially Hafiz Abdul Malik for a noble deed. They said that the enmity could have gone further if not resolved.
A few years ago one of Mirajugddin Shinwari’s brothers killed Habibullah Shalmani on the monetary issue that started enmity between the two families.
