SADDA: A convoy destined for Parachinar was attacked in the Ochat area of Lower Kurram, resulting in the death of the driver and injuries to several others.
According to sources, unidentified gunmen targeted the aid convoy, leading to a swift response from security forces. Gunship helicopters were deployed for aerial shelling as part of the countermeasures. Despite efforts to secure the area, more than 35 vehicles remain stranded.
The convoy, which originated from Thal and comprised 130 vehicles including 5 oil tankers, was en route to provide essential supplies to Parachinar when the attack occurred. The district administration is actively involved in managing the aftermath of the incident.
