Blast at Gate of PM’s adviser Mubarak Zeb House

PESHAWAR: A powerful explosion occurred near the residence of the Prime Minister’s adviser on merged districts and member national assembly from Bajaur, Mubarak Zeb Khan; however, no casualties occurred, police said on Wednesday.

According to District Police Officer (DPO) Waqas Rafiq, an explosive device had been planted near the main gate of Mubarak Zeb’s house, which detonated with a loud blast.

The explosion destroyed the main gate of the MNA’s residence. Fortunately, no casualties were reported. MNA Mubarak Zeb was not at home at the time of the incident.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
Later, Adviser Mubarak Zeb took to social media to share details of the attack. He confirmed that the main gate of his house was targeted with a bomb. “By the grace of Allah Almighty, there has been no loss of life,” he said.
Calling the attack a cowardly act, he stated, “Such actions cannot break my spirit. God willing, I will continue the mission of my martyred brother.
Mubarak Zeb Khan, a Member of the National Assembly (MNA), represents the NA-8 Bajaur constituency.
In the April 2024 by-elections, he contested as an independent candidate and secured a decisive victory in both the NA-8 Bajaur and PK-22 Bajaur-IV constituencies.
