MIR ALI: The manager of a national bank was killed in a targeted attack in the Shivah Tehsil of North Waziristan district on Monday.
According to the source, the incident occurred in Mir Ali Tehsil, where the vehicle carrying bank officials was ambushed by unknown assailants. As a result, bank manager Akbar Zaman died on the spot due to gunfire. His body was later shifted to Mir Ali Hospital.
At the time of the attack, the bank manager and his staff travelled from Miran Shah in a private vehicle.
