SADDA: Assistant Commissioner Saeed Manan of Boshehra, Upper Kurram, sustained injuries today after unidentified assailants opened fire in the Bushara area of District Kurram Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to sources, the attack, which occurred while Assistant Commissioner Manan was present with law enforcement personnel, has prompted a swift response from authorities.
Upon being injured, Assistant Commissioner Manan was swiftly transported to a nearby hospital for urgent medical treatment. Meanwhile, law enforcement agencies have mobilized a substantial force to conduct a thorough search operation aimed at apprehending those responsible for the assault.
“This incident follows another alarming attack on Deputy Commissioner Javedullah Mehsud in Lower Kurram, where he too suffered injuries from gunfire a few weeks ago. These events have underscored the precarious security situation in Kurram.”
