PESHAWAR: A Sikh Trader was shot and killed by an unknown assailant in the capital city of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Saturday, sources said
According to sources, Manmohan Singh was attacked by unknown assailants riding a motorcycle when was returning home in a rickshaw in the Guldara Chowk of Yakkatoot area in Peshawar city.
After the incident, a significant number of Sikhs, along with the victim’s family, gathered at the hospital. They expressed deep anger and sorrow regarding the repeated targeting of the Sikh community within a brief span of time.
The police registered a case and launched an investigation into the killing, but no arrests have been made so far.
Over the past few years, several members of the Sikh community have been targeted and killed in Peshawar, the capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Unfortunately, no arrests have been made in connection with any of the Sikh murders so far.
