RAWALPINDI:A delegation of the Afghan army officials visited Headquarters Southern Command Quetta on Thursday and met Commander Southern Command Lieutenant General Asim Saleem Bajwa.
According to ISPR,the Afghan army delegation was led by Major General Amam Nazar Commander 205 Corps (Afghan National Army) and was attended by other Afghan security officials including Major General Wali Mehmad, Commander 215 Corps (Afghan National Army).
The two sides discussed matters of mutual interest and security arrangements at the Pak-Afghan border. They agreed on better coordination and enhancing security measures on both sides.
The meeting emphasised that peace and stability can be achieved through complementary efforts and enhanced mutual cooperation
