Afghan Ambassador and Consul General Commend Pakistan’s Support in Repatriating Afghan Citizens

LANDIKOTAL; The Afghan Ambassador, Sardar Ahmad Shakib, and the Consul General visited the Landi Kotal of district Khyber, Holding Centre, expressing satisfaction with the facilities for Afghan returnees.

The Aghan Ambassador and Consul General, representing Afghanistan in Pakistan, arrived in Landi Kotal.
Their primary objective was to inspect the holding centre established to accommodate Afghan citizens who had been residing in Pakistan without legal status.
They also met with Afghan citizens currently residing in the holding centre.
The Afghan Ambassador interacted with the healthcare experts stationed at the complimentary medical clinic within the centre.
Sardar Ahmad Shakib also paid a visit to the Immigration Section situated at the Torkham Border Crossing. During the visit, they expressed their contentment with the efficiency of the clearance procedures, particularly praising the registration system in place for Afghan citizens returning to their homeland.
Afghan diplomats expressed their satisfaction with the steps taken by the Pakistani government, including the creation of a holding centre and a well-structured registration process. These measures have facilitated the seamless repatriation of Afghan citizens.
