PESHAWAR: Najam Sethi, the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), is facing a lot of anger on social media after tweeting absurdly that the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) will exclusively attack the State Security Establishment.

The banned TTP threatened more assaults against law enforcement officials before the head of the Pakistan Cricket Board posted the tweet.
In the since-deleted tweet, PCB Chairman Najam Sethi said that the PSL is not in danger since the TTP has stated that it will only target the nation’s security apparatus.
The TTP has said that due to failed agreements, they will solely attack state security institutions. PSL is not in danger; it will continue, according to Najam Sethi.
The tweet was removed, but a screen grab of it was obtained, and it has now gone viral, drawing harsh criticism for Najam Sethi for making what is being referred to as an “irresponsible” statement.
