Ex-Fata Christian delegation meets KP minister

LANDIKOTAL: A delegation representing the Christian community of the erstwhile Fata, particularly Khyber district, met Khyber Pakhtunkhwa minister for Auqaf, Hajj, Zakat, Ushr and Minority Affairs, Muhammad Adnan Qadri on Saturday and discussed issues related to minorities community.

The delegation, led by Arshad Masih, president of the Insaf minority wing, district Khyber, submitted a written application highlighting concerns related to legal matters, land disputes, and the provision of clean drinking water. They urged the provincial government to address these issues as a priority.
The delegation included Ameen Inayat, president of the Peshawar region; Pastor Ilyas George, elder Rashid Masih, elder Bablo Masih, Asif Masih and other representatives of the Christian community.
During the meeting, Minister Muhammad Adnan Qadri assured the delegation that he would play an active role in resolving their concerns. He said he would take up the matters with the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and work to ensure that the relevant departments address them without delay.

The Christians’ delegation thanked the provincial minister and expressed hope that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government would take effective and practical steps to resolve the Christian community’s civic issues.
