PESHAWAR: Forty-five Afghan nationals, who were staying without legal documents, on Sunday were Deported to their homeland after being released from various prisons in Pakistan, official sources said on Sunday.
The Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation officials said that the released Afghan nationals were held in Pakistani facilities for periods ranging from three to fifteen days, primarily due to issues related to their residence permits.
The swift resolution of their cases was attributed to the dedicated efforts of Afghan officials, mainly the diplomats representing the Islamic Emirate in Pakistan.
The Afghan nationals were handed over to Afghans. Order authorities.
On their return, the repatriated Afghans received assistance from Islamic Emirate officials, who facilitated their reintegration and connected them with local aid organizations for further support.
