The banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) on Wednesday threatened to target the top leaders of the two major political parties in the ruling coalition if they continued to support tough measures against the militant group.
According to sources, the Shehbaz Sharif administration is considering launching a military operation against the proscribed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), and reports claim that the TTP has threatened the country’s main parties.
The TTP issued a statement threatening to take action against key members of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) for their opposition to the terrorist organization.
The group warned that “people should avoid getting close to such leading people.”
The TTP is angry over Shehbaz Sharif and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s statements against the group.
