Bajaur: A soldier embraced martyrdom and 19 others sustained injuries on Monday when an improvised explosive device (IED) targeted a security forces convoy in Naway Kallay, Bajaur.
According to official sources, the fallen soldier has been identified as Sepoy Ihsan. Three of the injured personnel are reported to be in critical condition. All the wounded were immediately evacuated to a nearby hospital, where they remain under treatment.
Security forces swiftly cordoned off the area and launched a joint search operation to track down the perpetrators. Local accounts indicate the blast occurred during a routine patrol.
Bajaur – A mortar shell struck a house in the village of Irab, killing a child and leaving three others seriously injured. The injured were rushed to the hospital for medical treatment.
