LANDIKOTAL: Authorities at the Torkham border terminal apprehended a child and recovered heroin drug from his possession, official sources said on Monday.

The sources said that border force personnel stopped a boy as he entered from Afghanistan via the Torkham border crossing. The officials said they recovered heroin and caffeine packets from him. The development sparked serious concerns about the exploitation of minor children in illegal activities.
The drug, along with the child, was handed over to Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) officials for further investigation.

Officials expressed deep concern over the alarming trend of using children for illegal and immoral activities, emphasizing the grave impact on their lives for mere monetary gain. They urged strict legal action against those who exploit children in such ways and called on parents to protect their children from these dangers while focusing on their education and upbringing.
