Hand grenade attack on girls’ school at N Waziristan during grade 12 examination

PESHAWAR: A grenade was thrown at a girls’ school in North Waziristan during the annual examinations of the female students of grade 12 on Monday, no casualties have been reported.

According to the DPO of North Waziristan Shafiullah Gandapur, an unidentified terrorist threw the grenade at the empty security post above a government school in Haider Khel village to cause panic which caused no casualties.
He said the attack was carried out to create a law and order situation in the area. He said police have launched an investigation into the attack.
Police are conducting an investigation from all angles and no one will be allowed to disturb the peace here, DPO Added.
