Terrorist Firing in North Waziristan: Three Suspected Extremists Killed While in CTD Custody

Peshawar: Militants attacked security personnel in North Waziristan close to the Eidak bridge, killing three suspects instantly.

According to a statement released by the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) in Peshawar, the incident happened as a group of CTD and security personnel were moving high-profile suspects from Miranshah to Bannu. The militants ambushed the soldiers near Eidak Bridge and started shooting at them randomly.

The authorities responded to the attack quickly and took prompt action. One of the attacking terrorists, Naheed alias Bator, son of Sher Gul and a resident of Hormuz Mir Ali, was found dead during the ensuing search operation. He also had a Kalashnikov, three magazines, and 60 bullets, which were all seized by authorities.
Three suspects were killed instantaneously by the terrorists’ gunfire, while the remaining assailants managed to escape into the night.”

The terrorists who were killed have been identified as Ghazirullah, also known as Khorasan, son of Sarwar, hailing from Afghan Kalay Hamzuni; Nighatullah, son of Umar Ali, residing in Kaza Madakhil; and Jannat Wali, also known as Zulfiqar or Tor, son of Azam Khan, from Hakeem Khel Mir Ali.
These individuals were sought by the CTD and security forces due to their active participation in numerous grave offenses, such as targeted assassinations, assaults on security personnel, IED attacks, and the orchestration of suicide bombing plots.
