SADDA: The death toll from sectarian clashes in Kurram district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has climbed to 99, with 132 others injured.

According to sources, Over the past 24 hours, ten more fatalities were reported, while another body was recovered from the site of an attack on a convoy, compounding the toll from recent violence. The death climbed to 99, with 132 others injured.

A provincial government delegation has brokered a seven-day ceasefire between the warring factions. Efforts are underway to foster dialogue, with both sides agreeing to release captives as part of confidence-building measures.
