LANDIKOTAL: Unknown gunmen shot dead a young man in Khybr Sultankhel market and fled from the scene, while a youth died in a traffic accident, police said on Wednesday.
Police Officer Ayaz Khan Shinwari said that two unidentified gunmen entered a chicken shop and fired bullets at a resident identified as Nazeeullah son of Bakhmal Khan Afridi. He said the killers fled from the scene after committing the crime. The injured person was rushed to hospital but could not survive. The family of the deceased said they had no enmity with anyone. Police said they launched a search in the area and started an investigation.
Meanwhile, in the same locality of Sultankhel markets a young man Mehtab Khan Afridi son of Muhammad Ishaq died in a motorcycle and truck collided.
