PESHAWAR: Three terrorists were killed during operations conducted by the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) in Bannu and Charsadda, according to the Central Police Office in Peshawar.
As per police reports, two terrorists were eliminated in Bannu, while one was killed in Charsadda during the CTD operations.
In Bannu, the slain terrorists were involved in the attack on Police Constable Arman Khan. Meanwhile, in Charsadda, the wanted terrorist Javed Khan was killed. Authorities recovered a hand grenade, a pistol, a prima cord, and safety fuses from his possession.
Security forces continue their efforts against militant activities in the region.
