“Olasi Pasoon issued a unanimous statement that the Deputy Commissioner District Lower South Waziristan should call a meeting of line departments and ask them that maintaining law and order was their responsibility and that the state was legally obliged to maintain peace.

The statement said that a state within a state was not acceptable to the people, and they did not need peace through any armed groups.

On January 6, 2023, the civil and military institutions agreed on ten points regarding peace and order with “Olasi Pasoon,” in which most of the demands have not been implemented yet.

The meeting said that the progress in their ten demands and the reasons for non-progress on some demands and suggestions to ensure its implementation would be presented to officials.

They said that Olasi Pasoon would place a deadline asking the civil administration to ensure the pledges.

Olasi Pasoon threatened that if authorities failed to meet their words they call a grand meeting soon to chalk out their next plan.
