KHAR: Gunmen shot dead a police officer guarding a polio vaccination team on Wednesday in Area Dama Dola Serai Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Bajaur district.
According to sources, unidentified armed men targeted a polio vaccination team in Bajaur district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Officials stated that the team was conducting a door-to-door vaccination drive to administer polio drops to children when the attack took place.
The assailants managed to escape after the assault, and law enforcement agencies have launched a search operation to apprehend those responsible.
Following the attack, a large police contingent arrived at the scene, secured the area, and initiated an investigation into the incident.
